There is something special about these pancakes, the uniquely sweet taste is irresistible!!
These are so fluffy the syrup just seeps into the pancake, you feel like you need to keep adding syrup!
You will definitely want to make these for brunch or on that lazy Saturday morning.

IHOP CopyCat Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/4 cup buttermilk**
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • **If you don't have buttermilk - you can make it on your own:
  • 1 cup milk + 1 teas vinegar or lemon juice and let sit for 5-10min

Instructions

  • Put all ingredients into blender, blend for 30 seconds. Make sure to scrape down edges to blend all the flour.
  • Ladle 1/4 cup batter on pre-heated griddle
  • Watch for bubbles on top of each pancake, and when they POP its time to flip
  • Let cook on the other side for 30 seconds or so, tilt up with a spatula to check if they are golden brown
  • Add your favorite toppings and ENJOY!!!!
